Roger Cox

Roger Dale Cox, 57, of Ranger died Sunday, January 24, 2010 at his residence. Born in Cartersville on September 21, 1952, he was the son of the late Ernest Bartow Cox and the late Nora Magalee Stokes White. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeff Cox; and his brothers, Johnny Cox and Jerry Cox.



Roger had been employed as a carpenter. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.



Survivors include his daughters, Stacy Cox and Tina Bohannon, both of White; his daughter-in-law, Marie Cox of White; his sister, Melba Wilkins of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Justin Gultz, Zachary Cox, Holli Garrett, Corey Garrett, Robby Garrett, Chelsea Bohannon, and Brittani Bohannon; several half-brothers and half-sisters; and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Michael Abernathy officiating.



The family will receive friends from 5 � 6 p.m. Saturday prior to the memorial service.
