Ronnie Hampton

Ronnie Lee Hampton, 58, of Adairsville passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born September 30, 1953 in Cartersville he was the son of the late Leroy Hampton and the late Mary Bell Fields Hampton. He was also preceded in death by his grandchildren, Robert Dale Hester and Jade Montgomery; his brother, Tony Floyd; and his sister, Betty Ruth Hampton.



Survivors include his former spouse Dale Hampton; his children, Gilda Hester, Gayla and Chris Sorrentino, James Montgomery, Clayton Hampton and Ginger Hampton; his grandchildren, Destiny Isbell, David Hester, Kylene Hester, Joseph Edwards, Caleb Chastain, Mariah Hunt, Lucas Montgomery, Lauren Montgomery, Bridgett Hampton, Gunner Hampton, Brayden Wilbanks and Brittany Carrell; his special friend, Tammy Jones; his brothers, William Hampton, Robby Floyd and Ricky Floyd; his sister, Felecia Floyd; and several nieces and nephews.



A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Freedom Worship Center, 1941 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30121 with the Reverend Jon Goltz officiating.
