Ronny Kown

February 5, 1948 — March 1, 2025

Ronny Kown, 77 of Euharlee, passed away on March 1, 2025 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center. He was born in Cartersville Georgia on February 5, 1948 to the late Luther Kown and the late Johnnie Kown Pressley.

Ronny was most known for his '55 Chevy Bellair. He had rebuilt the car and could often be found caring for it. He was also an avid gun collector and loved collect rocks and rock tumble. Before he found gun collecting and rock tumbling, he loved to build model airplanes.

Survivors include his brother, Steven Kown (Carey); as well as his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hoxworth, Kristi Jones, Adam Kown, Johnathan Kown, Jacob Kown, and Brendan Kown.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2025, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reverend Chester Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Miller's Chapel Church Cemetery in White. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the funeral home.
