Rose Fowler

Rose Marie Fowler, 76, of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. Born on October 4, 1948, in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Elijah M. Waits and the late Opal Towe Waits. Marie is also preceded in death by her first husband, James Fowler; great granddaughter, Brittany Michelle Bagley; sisters, Helen McCamey, Bonnie Garcia, and Judy Waits; brothers, Ray Waits, William Waits, Stanley Waits, and Kenneth Waits; son-in-law, Jeff Dupree; and step grandson, Clay Ragsdale.

Survivors include her children, Randall Hilliard, Albert Hillard (Tammy), Rose Nell Jenkins (Bryant), and Martha Dupree; stepson, Shannon Edmondson; grandchildren, Brian Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, and Anthony Dupree; special granddaughter, Jennifer Hall; half-sister, Sheila Ann Waits; 18 great grandchildren; and special friends, Beverly Cochran and Liz Ponders.

The family will be having a visitation on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2024, in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Don Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Dupree, Brian Jenkins, Brandon Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Michael Tidwell, and Albert Hilliard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Waits, Randall Hilliard, and Shannon Edmondson.
