Rosemary Crowhurst, 69, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 2, 1939 in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Ethel Stewart Crowhurst and the late Winthrop Crowhurst. She was also preceded in death by her son, George Donald Haring; her grandson, Blake McBee; and her brother, Jimmy Crowhurst.
Rosemary was a retired accountant who worked both privately and for companies. She had been employed with M&M/Mars in New Jersey. And, her private clientele included Gene Simmons of the rock music group Kiss.
Survivors include her children, David and Laura Haring of Sayreville, New Jersey, Denise and Joe Van Osten of Ambler, Pennsylvania, Danny Grommet of Acworth, Georgia and Deborah and Jamey McBee of Dallas, Georgia; six grandchildren; her siblings, Winn and Barbara Crowhurst of Lithia Springs, Donald Crowhurst of Colorado, Bunny and Gary Osborne of Colorado, and Gordon and Lisa Crowhurst of Florida; and her mother, Marion Crowhurst of Colorado.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2008 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends following the service.
