Rosemary Gessaman Piatt, 82, of White, Georgia passed away on May 7, 2025. Born June 1, 1942, in Decatur, Illinois to the late Paul William Gessaman and Irene Ann Leibengood.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Irene Gessaman, sisters; Barbara, Lila and Wilma, brothers; Johnny, Mike, Paul and Vernon.
Rosemary was a devoted, soft spoken wife to Robert (B.J.) Piatt for 51 years, 45 of those years being beside him as he pastored local churches. She loved reading and watching the Braves. Rosemary attended Rhema Bible College. She operated her own business for 18 years. She will be remembered for her faithful devotion to God, her family and everyone around her.
Rosemary leaves behind her husband; Robert D. Piatt Jr. children; son, Paul J. Piatt (Nina), daughters; Pam Cooksey and Lori McIntire (Scott), grandchildren; Nate Stimson, Justin Stimson (Jessie), Brittney Stimson, Aidan Piatt, Ryland Piatt, Morgan Ritter, Madison Ritter, Logan Fricker, great-grandchildren; Ariel Stimson, Summer Stimson, Dominic Ritter, Ares Stimson, Emily Stimson, Titan Stimson, great-great grandchildren; Angelo Stimson, brother; David Gessaman.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with David Gessaman officiating. Family and friends are welcome 12:00-1:30 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in White, Georgia.
