Ruby Breeden

Mrs. Ruby Annis Graves "Maw" Breeden, age 81, of 2759 A Big Texas Valley Road, Rome, GA, died, Monday, February 18, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Breeden was born in Maryville, TN, on June 21, 1926. She retired from General Motors and was a homemaker. She enjoyed crochet, crossword puzzles, Nascar Racing, and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Breeden is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Breeden; a daughter, Shirley Rea; and two brothers, Kenny and Leyre Graves.

Mrs. Breeden is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law, Maynard and Lee Breeden of Satsuma, FL, Dennis Breeden of Argentine, MI, Michael and Donna Breeden of Panama City, FL, Keith and Judy Breeden of Fruithurst, AL, Wayde Breeden of Panama City, FL, and Wayne and Debbie Breeden of Forest City, NC; two daughters, Ruby McCary of Rome and Yvonne Breeden and her companion, Glenda of Panama City, FL; forty grandchildren; sixty-five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and an adopted daughter and her husband, Pat and Thonn Puryear. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Clonts and Rev. Jim Barkley officiating. Interment will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, TN.

Mrs. Breeden will remain in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

The sons of Mrs. Breeden and a grandson, Sam Garza, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
