Russell Stringer

July 7, 1969 — September 15, 2021

Russell "Russ" John Stringer, 52, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on September 15, 2021 at Gordon Hospital.

Born on July 7, 1969, he was the son of Johnny Stringer and Patsy Price Stringer.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Pasty Stringer; children, Dustin and Jordan Stringer, Austin and Kaylee Stringer, and Kaitlyn Stringer; his granddaughter, Taylynn Stringer; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Russ was retired from the Bartow County Sheriff's Office after 20 years of diligent service. In his retirement, he enjoyed music and worked as a DJ.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the funeral home.
The family requests that masks be worn in Russ's honor.
