Mrs. Ruth Ann Cooley, 75, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Heritage Hospice in Marietta. Born November 8, 1937 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Will Adcock and the late Viola Adkison.
Mrs. Cooley loved to garden and can the vegetables for her family. She worked for Kroger as a cashier before retirement.
Survivors include her son, Michael Cleland of Kennesaw; her daughter, Cathy McCurdy of Louisiana; her sisters, Lillie Thacker of Rome and Virginia Whitley of Dallas; her brothers, Roy Adcock of White and Raymond Adcock of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Brent Tatum officating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Friday.
