Ruth Wiley

Ruth Ellen Wiley, 76, of Cartersville, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. Born November 5, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William Wilson Mulkey and Annie Christine Mulkey.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roy Freeman Wiley; her son, Charles Stiles; and her brother William Wayne Mulkey.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Wiley II (Lesa), Greg Wiley, daughter in law Lynn Stiles; grandkids, Andrew Wiley, Caleb Wiley, Christopher Wiley, Gavin Wiley, Charles Stiles, Melissa Barrickman, Matthew Hedgepath, Savannah Lynch; her brother Joe Mulkey; several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Ruth loved her husband Roy and her family. She got so excited when she received trinkets from her family, and she had them all on display. Her favorite food was moon pies and her favorite singer was Elvis. She loved flowers; they didn't last very long but she loved them anyway.

A visitation will be held at Zion Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday December 1, 2020 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jonathan Padgett officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery.
