Samuel Leroy Adams, 65, of White passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Atlanta, Georgia April 20, 1945 he was the son of the late Omer Samuel Adams and Mary Frances Craft Adams. Mr. Adams was also preceded in death by his brother, Byron Adams and his sister Karen Mica.
Samuel was a man with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a volunteer fireman. His greatest love was for his family. Samuel retired from Atlantic Steel after 32 years of service and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Dianne Adams, his son; Keith Samuel Adams of Conyers, his daughters and sons-in-law; Calley Cheri and Jason Joiner of Defuniak Springs FL, Dianna and Wayne Wiley of Rocky Face, and Lisa Wiley of Charlotte NC, his grandchildren; Tonya Hawkins, Samuel Adams, Jacob Joiner, Amanda Adams, Daniel Adams, Jena Joiner, Emiliano Joiner, Francisco Joiner, his great-grandchildren; Braedyn Smith and Jalyn Hunt, his mother; Mary Frances Craft Adams, his brother and his wife; Dennis and Vickie Adams, and his sister; Mary Beam.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 27, 2010 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Joe Nix officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
