Samuel Green, 74, of Cartersville, Georgia, sadly passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.
Born on July 29, 1947 in Valdosta, Georgia, he was the son of the late Charles Green and Annie Lee Green (Crumb). He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Green, of New Jersey.
Survivors include his long-time companion, Mary Ellen Stout, his son, Stafford Green, his brothers Edward Green of Apopka, FL and James Green of San Diego, CA, his nieces and nephews; Mara Hagan, Doria Driver, Jonathan Green, and Charles Green, as well as his great-niece and nephew; Ruby Hagan and Caleb Green.
Sam loved all of life. He had a huge heart for families and children who were adopted, In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate in his memory to http://racefortheorphans.org to help defray the cost of adoption for children who are being adopted into their forever family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 15th, 2022 at Hope Church located at 1970 Charles Hardy Parkway Dallas, GA 30157. The service will be live streamed and a link to access the live stream will be posted here soon.
