Samuel Simmons, Jr.

Mr. Samuel "Bill" Simmons, Jr., 80, of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his residence. Born in Washington, D.C. on March 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Dr. Samuel William Simmons and the late Lois Grantham Simmons.
Mr. Simmons was employed by Lockheed Martin for thirty plus years. His presents will be sorely missed by his family and his horses.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jacqueline Simmons of Adairsville; his daughters and son-in-law, Carlene and Dan Reitz of Adairsville and Cynthia Schulla of Atlanta; his son, Butch Simmons of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, Christy Fetke of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, William Blake Smith of Adairsville, Melissa Schulla of Lilburn, Jason Reitz of Adairsville and Bobby Reitz of Kennesaw; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Grant Simmons of Cleveland, Tennessee.
