Sara Clark

March 5, 1919 — January 22, 2011

Mrs. Sara K. Clark, 91, of Cartersville died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Starcrest of Cartersville. Born in Cedartown, March 5, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Howard Moore and the late Della Atkins Moore. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willard Clark; her son, Troy Clark; her sisters, Frances Fisher, Fannie Dee Turner and Edna White; and her brothers, Edgar and Harold Moore.



Mrs. Clark was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a hard worker, enjoyed sewing, working with her flowers, cooking and taking care of her family.



She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Brenda Clark; her grandson, Bret Clark; her great-grandchildren, Callie, Emily and Andrew Clark; her brother, Hudson Moore of Birmingham, Alabama; her sisters and brother-in-law, Lanell and Bernard Traylor of Snellville, Martha Jane Hanington of Albany, Ellen Edwards of Smyrna and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 24, 2011 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Doug Harris officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.



Serving as pallbearers will be Bret Clark, Andy Moore, Tim Clark, David Turner, Brenton Garmon and Robert Moore. These gentlemen are asked to meet at 10:15 a.m., Monday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.



Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville is serving the family of Mrs. Sara K. Clark.
