Sarah Farmer

Sarah Farmer, 87, of Adairsville passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at her residence.

Born on September 20, 1933 in Marietta she was the daughter of the late Francis Lanning and the late Mamie Morgan Lanning. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Norman Farmer II; her sons, Charles Farmer, and Dave Farmer; her brother, David Lanning; and her sisters, Clara Mae Bennett, and Margie Smith.

Sarah was a member of Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church

Survivors include her sons, Lewis Farmer, Millard Farmer (Brenda), Junior Farmer, Noah Farmer, and Larry Farmer (Susan); her daughter, Mary Sanders (James); her sisters, Mevelyn Durden, Irene Brookshire, Marie Hall, Brenda Lanning, Barbara Ann Brown, Sue Hess, and Margie Blackmon; her daughter-in-law, Faye Farmer Cook and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Reverend Marvin Ellis and Reverend Ralph Harper officiating. Interment will follow Tilley Bend Baptist Church Cemetery in Blue Ridge. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
