Sarah Loveless

Mrs. Sarah Louise Loveless, age 66, of 2670 Reeceburg Road, Rome, GA, died Friday, November 10, 2006, in a local hospital.A native of Cave Spring, GA, Mrs. Loveless was born on January 10, 1940, the daughter of the late Carl and Ethel Hanson Sharp. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Doyle Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Loveless was a housewife and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, watching flower shows and cooking shows on T.V. She also was an avid Gospel music fan. Mrs. Loveless, "Memaw" to family and friends, loved nothing more than to play and color with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Blanton, in 1985.Mrs. Loveless is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, J.R. Loveless, to whom she was married on April 3, 1957; sons and daughters, Randy Loveless, David (Tracy) Loveless, Kathy (Trent) Blanton, Carl Loveless, Terry Loveless, Tammy (Wilburn "E.W.") Davis, Penny (Mark) Vuckovich, Rodney Loveless and Ellen Loveless; brothers, Willis Sharp, Larry Sharp and Jackie Sharp. Nineteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services for Mrs. Loveless will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Rampley and Rev. Gregg Free officiating. Interment will follow in the Oaknoll Memorial GardensThe family will receive friends this (Sunday) evening from 7 until 9 p.m. in the Oaknoll Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home.
