Scott Fillers

On Friday April 22nd Scott Glenn Fillers (Poppy) was called home at the age of 52. He is predeceased by his father Charles Clay Fillers. Scott Glenn Fillers is survived by his loving wife, of 33 years, Tammy Fillers.

Scott (Poppy) is lovingly remembered by (son) Scotty Fillers and his wife Katie Fillers, (daughter) Tiffany Groomes and her husband Jeffery Groomes, (mother) Shelba Fillers, (brother)Tony Fillers, (brother) Charles Fillers, (grandchildren) Trevor Fillers, Easton Fillers, and Eli Fillers, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and extended family.

Scott (Poppy) was born May 12, 1969 at Kennestone Hospital. Scott (Poppy) was a loving son, father, husband, grandfather, and a friend to everyone. He loved fishing, spending time with his wife, his brothers, friends/family and absolutely anything that had to do with his grandchildren. Poppy was always there to help anyone in need. His heart was truly made of gold, and he is the perfect example of what it means to be a family man. His tireless love and devotion to his family will carry on forever.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, with Danny Ricker officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
