Scottie Lamar Bowman, 53 of Acworth, Georgia, passed away on August 8, 2021.
Born on June 3, 1968, he was the son of the late Larry Daniel Bowman and Glenda Faye Bowman.
Survivors include his wife, Sheri Bowman; daughters Brandi (Jamie) Botts of Acworth, Tracee (John) York of Canton, Shané (Ben) Dupree of Canton; son Colby (Kayla) Bowman of Cartersville; Grandmonsters, Renee, Sarah, Nattie, Jaidee, Luke, Kylynn, and Drew; brother Bradly Bowman of Adairsville; sister Melinda Kazee of Acworth; niece Alexis Bowman; cousins Joy (Ty) Johnson of Cedar Town, Gwen (Ed) Barber of Silver Creek, Dorinda (Harvey) Wade, Randal (Christi) Bowman of Silver Creek, Mark (Stephanie) Bowman of Hobbs, New Mexico, Brian (Kristen) Bowman, and Jill (Russell) Burkhalter; aunts Sarah Bowman and JoAnne Bowman of Silver Creek, and Mary Ann Bowman of Hobbs, New Mexico; and an uncle, Jimmy (Lynn) Dillard of Rome, Georgia.
Scottie was a member of Eagles Nest Worship Center with Pastor Ronnie Richardson. He was a loving dad, Pops, and husband. His favorite activities was spending time with his family and fishing with his Little Buddy, Drew. He was a very hard worker and was a good friend to many. He also loved his dogs, Mekko and Daisy.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.
