Mr. Scotty Ray Owens, 32, of White passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in Ohio. A native of Bartow County, born January 18, 1979, he was the son of George Jones and Tammy Hardin.
He was employed by Metal Coaters in Marietta. Scotty was a devoted father and enjoyed taking his children skating, meeting them for lunch at school, going to the movies and cooking with his mommaw. He also loved to fish and camp with his kids and family.
He is survived by his father, George Jones of Cartersville; his mother, Tammy Hardin of Cartersville; his wife, Jasmyn Owens of Adairsville; his children, Kevin, Baily, and Sera Owens all of Adairsville; his brother, Shawn Hale of Cartersville; his sisters, Denise Owens, Danielle Jones both of Cartersville, and Deanna Ingram of White; and his mommaw, Bernice Hardin of Acworth.
The family will receive friends at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville from 6 � 9 p.m., Thursday.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
