Seward Cooper, Jr.

June 1, 1941 — October 14, 2011

Seward �Bug� Simpson Cooper, Jr., 70, of Cartersville passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011 at his residence. Born June 1, 1941 in Bartow County he was the son of the late Seward Simpson Cooper, Sr., and the late Edna Howren Cooper. Seward served his country in the United States Navy. He attended the City of Praise Worship Center and was employed as a mechanic at 7 Hills Transportation.



Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Tim Brooks; his son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Shanda Cooper; his grandchildren, Cody Godwin, Callie Goodwin, Alexis Cooper, Mikailyn Cooper, James Burkhart, Justin Burkhart, Briana Petty, Havyn Cooper, and Bella Cooper; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Mitch Weaver, and Linda and Greg Campbell; and his aunt, Nell McIntyre.



Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Marie Phillips officiating.



The family will receive friends from 12:30 � 1:30 on Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.



In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions to in Seward honor at any Family Savings Federal Credit Union.
