Miss Shannon Ruby Johnson, age 31, of Cartersville, formerly of Las Vegas, died June 11, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born February 7, 1983 in Decatur, Illinois, she was a daughter of Carolyn Sue Karloski, and the late Steven Douglas Johnson. Shannon loved to cook and enjoyed arts and crafts she also enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her mother Carolyn Johnson of Cartersville; stepfather, Edison Wilson of Cartersville; grandmother, Sharon Karloski of Decatur; sister, Stephanie Downs (Benjamin) of Las Vegas; brother, Jeremy Johnson (Martha) of Las Vegas; best friend, Jason Hudson of Las Vegas; nieces, Karla Johnson and Cassandra Downs; nephews, Taylor Downs and Steven Johnson, of Las Vegas; uncle, Steven Karloski of Raleigh, NC; stepsisters, Traci Watson of Emerson, Stacy Williams of Acworth, and Jamie Kramer of Emerson.
