Shawn Brock

Shawn Douglas Brock, 20, of Cartersville, died peacefully Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Cartersville Medical Center following a life time of illness. A native of Bartow County, Shawn was born October 10, 1990 to Tammy Henson Woodall. He was a very special, sweet little boy and young man and was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry James and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Martin.



Shawn is survived by his parents, Rafe and Tammy Woodall; his brother, Cody Woodall; his sister, Tamra Woodall; his grandparents, Ruth Leonard and Regina James; great-grandmother, Kathleen Simpson, affectionly known as �MeMa�; his cousins, Drew Knox and Brodi Knox; his uncles, Jeardon Henson and wife, Jackie, Jackie Waits, Chuck Knox and Donald James.



Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon, Friday, March 11, 2011 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Wayne Richmond and Reverend Josh James officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.



Pallbearers are asked to meet at 11:30 a.m., Friday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and will include: Drew Knox, Brodi Knox, Jordan Pickens and Corey Mullinax. The family will recieve friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
