Shelia Bailey

Mrs. Shelia Wehunt Bailey, 64, of Cartersville died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Emery University Hospital. Born in Rome, Georgia, November 22, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James Clifton Wehunt and the late Pauline Ford Wehunt.
Mrs. Bailey was a life- long member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and longtime early childhood Sunday School Teacher. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved to read and enjoyed gardening. She and Donald loved to travel, especially locations with gardens.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Donald Bailey of Cartersville; her daughers and sons-in-law, Shannon Bailey Curtis and her husband, Jeff and Dionis Bailey Lingerfelt and her husband, Curtis all of Cartersville; seven grandchildren, Blake, Galen, Dustin, Sarah, Maggie, Madison and Haley; her sisters, Patricia Gaston and Wanda Wehunt both of Cartersville; her brothers, James Clifton Wehunt, Jr. and Adrian Wehunt of Cartersville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Benny Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery in White. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
