Sherry Whitaker, 56, of Euharlee passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at her residence.
Born in Cartersville on October 29, 1956 she was the daughter of the late Norman Bruce and her mother, Glenda Holmes. She was also preceded in death by "mama" Joyce Bruce. Sherry was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered for living life to the fullest and loving her daughter and grandchildren. She was known as her daughter's "secret keeper".
Survivors include her daughter, Christie Bruce; her grandchildren, Norma Bruce, Chelsea Hyde and Chase Greenway; her mother, Faye Holmes Hawkins; her brother, Shane Dupree; her sisters, Tina Bruce, Kim Mohan, Renoda Vanhouten and Toni Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
