Shirley Rattler

Shirley Evans-Tanner-Rattler of Cartersville, Georgia passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021.

Shirley was born in Cartersville on January 8, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Hughie and Pearl Edmondson. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Karl Evans, Robert Rattler and Danny Tanner.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Olja (Woodrow) Smith, Tara (Jimmy) Patterson, and Erika Tanner – Myrick; her son, Dale (Cindy) Tanner; her grandchildren, Seth Meadows, Lucus Garcia- Myrick, Dillion Myrick, and Karla Myrick; and her great-grandchildren, Neveah Meadows, Cason Meadows, Peyton Meadows, and Trenton Meadows.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
