Shirley Rea

Mrs. Shirley Ann Rea, age 63, of 2759 A Big Texas Valley Road, Rome, GA, died Saturday, February 16, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Rea was born in Cleveland, TN, on March 10, 1944, the daughter of Ruby Graves Breeden and the late Albert Breeden. Mrs. Rea lived in Michigan until 1983 then moved to South Georgia. Mrs. Rea came to Rome in 2002 from Texas. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to sew. Mrs. Rea worked at Floyd Medical Center and Redmond Regional Medical Center as a LPN.

In addition to Mrs. Rea's mother she is survived by her son, John Rea III of Florida; three daughters, Penny and her husband, Jack of AL, Melinda Rea of MI, Cynthia Rea of Rome; and Bonnie Hyde and her husband, Tom of MI; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six brothers, Maynard Breeden, Dennis Breeden, Michael Breeden, Keith Breeden, Wade Breeden, and Wayne Breeden; and two sisters, Alberta McCary and Yvonne Breeden. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
