Shirley Womack

December 6, 1947 — December 21, 2024

On December 21 ^st 2024, Shirley Womack of Kingston, Georgia passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Shirley worked for the Bartow County School System for several years and for majority of that time she spent teaching first grade at Hamilton Crossing Elementary School. In Shirley's free time she thoroughly enjoyed antiquing, watching NASCAR and classic films, or reading.

Shirley is proceeded in death by her parents, James and Ruby Burrell, and baby boy Kel.

Shirley is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Anthony "Sonny" Womack Sr; son Anthony "Tony" Womack Jr.; daughter, Kelly Hazelwood; daughter, Kasey Womack; grandchildren Travis Roberts and wife Katie, Lindsey Turnbull, and Jordan Bagley; great-grandchildren Jaxon and Harper Roberts; life-long friend Opal Freeman; sister, Linda Ridley; nephews and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

The family will be having a private graveside service in early spring to lay Mrs. Shirley Womack to rest.
