Stacey Burt

Stacey Copeland Burt, 35, of Cartersville passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta following a sudden illness. Born on Thanksgiving, November 28, 1974 in Rome, she was the daughter of Mike and Janet Copeland.



Stacey was employed by the Bartow County Juvenile Court. She attended Friendship Baptist Church and was of the Baptist faith. Stacey was a very special person known for her bright smile and her sweet disposition. She enjoyed being a mother and loved her children and her family very much. Stacey will be missed by all who knew her.



Survivors include her parents, Mike and Janet Copeland; her daughter, Savanna Knox; her son, Carson Knox; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Brandon and Mandi Copeland and Tyler and Cassie Copeland, all of Cartersville; her uncles and aunts, Donnie and Nadine Copeland of Chatsworth and Eddie and Sidney Anderson of Marietta; a special person in her life, Ronnie Burt of Cartersville; and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Duvall and Mr. Dale Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.



Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Copeland, Tyler Copeland, Jeff Almon, Wayne Jarrett, Donnie Copeland, and Shane Pickel. These gentlemen are asked to be at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Monday.



The family will receive friends from 6 � 9 p.m. on Sunday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
