Mr. Stan C. Carroll, 71, of Cartersville died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Cartersville Medical Center. Born May 10, 1939 in Bartow County, he was the son of the late J.B. Carroll and the late Leola Evans Carroll. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Claude and Bob Carroll; and his sisters, Lois Littlefield and Sarah Owens.
Stan was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was employed by the Zep Corporation.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Dangler Carroll; his children, Tammie Paige, Ria and Scott Allen, Lori and Mike Wright, and Stacy Fain; his grandchildren, Emma and Lilly Paige, Lydia Allen, and Lauren and Kaysie Lee Wright; his brothers, Reuben and Horace Carroll; and his sister Jean Hardin.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 in Oak Hill Cemetery with his son-in-law, Scott Allen, giving the memorial address.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. � 1:30 p.m., Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation, 430 Cassville Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.
