Mr. Stanley McAlister, 50, of Cartersville died Monday, June 11, 2012 at a local hospital. A native of Bartow County, born July 14, 1961, he was the son of the late Junior Renae McAlister and the late Foye Yancey McAlister. Along with his parents his is preceded in death by a brother, George McAlister.
He is survived by his wife Dorrane McDonald McAlister of Cartersville; his daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Nathan Simpson of Emerson, Christi and Billy Nolan of Hickory, NC, Kristi Fletcher of Cartersville and Amanda and Dusty Walker of Kingston; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Ellen Lee of Aragon and Renae Robinson of Rockmart; one brother, David McAlister of Rockmart; a special mother-in-law, Lillie McDonald; and a special rascal, Johnny Hunt.
A memorial service will held from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, June 15th at Cooper's Furnace. Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Stanley McAlister.
