Stephen Halcomb

Stephen Kent Halcomb, 47, of White went home to be with our Heavenly Father on April 16, 2011 after a long illness. Born August 15, 1963 in Lexington, Kentucky he was the son of Charles Halcomb, Jr., and Lavenia Miller. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Evans; and his grandfather, George M. Evans.



Survivors include his mother, Lavenia Miller of White; his father, Charles Victor Halcomb, Jr., of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; his grandparents, William and Sue Miller of Lexington, Kentucky; his sisters and brother-in-law, Faith Whitley and Nate Bowen of Dallas, and Chelsea Martinez of White; his niece, Whitley Rose Bowen of Dallas; his special cousins, Jeane Bates of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Kathy Maness of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Mildred Lafoe of Waco, Kentucky; his special great-aunt, Ruby Rowe of Georgetown, Kentucky; and many other cousins and extended family.



A memorial service is planned at a later date in Lexington, Kentucky.



The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Harbin, Heyman Hospice, and especially Lola Nation who became a friend and a confidant during this time.
