Stephen "Steve" Preston Moore, II, (Buck), 55, of Adairsville, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Advent Health Redmond Hospital in Rome, GA.
Born on May 10, 1969, in Sylva, NC, he leaves behind his devoted wife Candace Harris; his mother, Nancy Moore; his father, Stephen P. Moore (Janet); brother, Michael Moore (Valerie); stepbrother, Joseph Pagano (Elizabeth). His loving children include Matthew (Cara); Spenser (Taylor); Monica Hudson (Jason); Blaine Ingram; Jayden Smith; Katie Johnson: Bradley Johnson; Jeremy Johnson (Alexis). He was proud of all his beautiful grandchildren Luka, Waverly, Liam, Aiden, Zayne, Elaina, Chloe, Parker, and Kameron and his brother's daughters Kendall and Mason. He will also be missed by his in-laws, Ronnie and Kitty Harris as well as nephew Harrison and niece Mary Gail. He is preceded in death by his sister-in-law Amanda Harris, and his beloved grandparents Papaw & Mamaw Sanders, Mamaw Moore, and Lona & Mary Gregory.
Steve (Buck) was a hardworking, devoted family man. He was a dedicated employee at Dunham's Sports in Rome, Georgia since 2020. He enjoyed grilling out, camping, playing video games and golf. His passion for sports was evident throughout his life, whether he was playing as a boy, coaching his children and grandchildren through multiple sports or cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs!! Christmas was his favorite time of year.
Pallbearers to include Matthew Moore, Spenser Moore, Bradley Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Blaine Ingram and Jayden Smith.
The family invites visitors from 12:00 – 1:30 prior to the service at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Reverend Danny Willis and Ronnie Harris officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. GO DAWGS!!
The family requests that those desiring to send flowers would consider sending potted plants that can be planted outside in a memorial garden in Steve's honor.
