Steve Quick

Steve Claud Quick, 68, of Cartersville, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023.

Born on February 14, 1955, in Rome, Georgia, he was the son of the late Claud and Margaret Quick. Steve is also preceded in death by his step-father, Walter McNabb, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Quick; daughter, Angela (Steven) Farmer; grandchildren, Addie Kate Farmer and Jake Farmer; son, Brad Quick; brothers, Wayne (Lynn) Quick and Ken Quick; and nieces and nephews, Brittney (Aveah) Quick, Katie (Heath) Massey, and Josh (Ashley) Quick.

Steve loved spending time with his grandbabies. He was an avid member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a big fan of football and enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Steve also had a passion for cars.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with Pastor Clinton Green officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Matt Abernathy, Donald Cowart, Steven Farmer, Jerry Knight, David Smith, and Rick Teems. Honorary pallbearers are Govan Alexander, Rick Alexander, Jake Farmer, Ronald Garland, Dan Kennedy, Josh Quick, Bill Smith, Gary Snead, David Stephens, Tommy Waits, and Andy Womack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.
