Steve Doyle Whitfield

Steve Doyle Whitfield, born August 15 1959, in Bartow County, passed away on April 23, 2026.

Steve was born to Doyle and Daisy Whitfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Whitfield, and his sisters, Lisa Whitfield and Kelly Caneup.

He is survived by his mother, Daisy Whitfield; his sisters Suzanne Phillips (Arthur) and Sherry Copeland (Shane); his brothers Tracey Whitfield and William Whitfield (Laurie); and many nieces and nephews.

Steve is also survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Whitfield; his daughters, Brandy Long (Justin) and Stacy Kincannon (Russ); and his son, Tommy Kincannon (Tina).

He leaves behind two granddaughters, Cierra Carpenter and Bayli Carpenter; three grandsons, Austen Cornwell, Alex Cornwell, and Chris Blalock; as well as four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 in the funeral home's chapel. Burial will follow at Center Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Kincannon, Chris Blalock, Lukas Blalock, Justin Long, Cody Copeland, and BJ Raines. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Bayli Carpenter, Cierra Carpenter, and Braylynn McNiel.

Steve will be remembered for his deep love of family and the many lives he touched throughout the years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
