Mr. Steven Dwight Teitsort, 45, of Cartersville, died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Cartersville Heights.
Born July 26, 1970 in Atlanta, he was a son of Alpha Freeman Lowry and the late Dwight Myron Teitsort. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his grandchildren, and loved sports, baseball, and wrestling. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Gardener Teitsort.
Survivors include his mother, Alpha Lowry of Cartersville; son, Steven Bridges Teitsort and his wife Jessica of Rockmart; children, Bryant Roberts, and Gabby Roberts, both of Valdosta; sisters, Lisa Teitsort of Cartersville, Anita Boyd and her husband Chris of Acworth, Wendy Ross and her husband David of Cartersville, and Clara Elizabeth Thacker and her husband Christopher of Cartersville; brother, Kevin Wayne Teitsort and his fiancé Charlotte Barton of Cartersville; grandchildren, Aiden Carnes, Addie Mae Teitsort, Alaya Crimson Teitsort; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
