Suzan Heming

October 13, 1944 — February 24, 2024

Mrs. Wilhelmina Suzan (Grandmama) Muller Heming, 79 of 197 Shinall Gaines Road, Cartersville, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on Friday, October 13, 1944. She is the daughter of William Muller and Laura Minelle Summers Muller. Mrs. Heming was a creative and talented woman where she played the piano and the organ within her church, the accordion, clarinet, and the flute, and was able to play two octaves on the handbells at the same time. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending Wednesday's clipping coupons. She is a retiree from Kennesaw State University and enjoyed playing Bejeweled, Solitaire, and Crossword Puzzles in her free time. Mrs. Heming was a God-fearing woman who is preceded in death by her mother and father, both her brothers (Dennis and Frank Lazar), and her husband (Larry Heming).

Mrs. Heming is survived by her two daughters, Jeanine Heming and Melanie Heming Gerardy of Cartersville, Georgia, one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Kristina Heming of Nashville, Tennessee, two granddaughters, Amanda Cleveland, and Daniella Heming, and one grandson, Tucker Heming.

Family and Friends are asked to join Friday, March 01, 2024, from 5:00 till 8:00 PM at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to go towards the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of the love and respect Mrs. Heming had for those who are and have served our Country.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 02, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with family and friends sharing kind words and memories. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
