Sybil Inez Croy, age 84, of Cartersville Ga. died December 9 2020.
Sybil was born May 20, 1936 in Kingston, Ga. She was one of six kids from the late James and Essie Potts. Sybil was retired from Shaw Industries. She was a loving mother to seven children, to whom she sacrificed and worked sometimes two jobs to make sure we had what we needed. She was kind and caring to everyone she met. She was of Christian
faith and went to Creekside Fellowiship Church for 30 years.
Sybil was preceded in death by her parents, James and Essie Potts; two sisters,Evelyn Culver and Martha Blumenfield; a brother, John Potts; a son, Randy Croy; a daughter, Gwen Dyer; two grandsons, Shane Pope and John Morris.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan (Dennis) Pope; Bobbie Hillhouse, Jennifer (Michael) Whaley,and Becky (Bo) Smith; and one son, James (Billiesue) Croy; Sybil also has seventeen grandkids, twenty-six great-grandkids, and two
great-great grandkids.
A memorial service will be held at Creekside Fellowship Church on Old Alabama Road, Cartersville, Ga 30120 on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 3:00pm.
