Tammie Ann Smith, 60, of Rockmart passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.
Born in Cartersville on May 30, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Richard Talmadge Murphy and the late Caileen Whitener.
Tammie enjoyed cooking, crafting, watching The Walking Dead, and being outdoors. She was the owner and operator of Catch it Wild, wildlife rehabilitation, for over ten years.
Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Ellenwood of Chatsworth; her sons, Stephen Bright of Chatsworth, and Cody Smith of Rockmart; her sisters, Joyce Bell of Resaca, Teresa Collum of Calhoun, Janice Burt of Kingston, Karin Cook of Taylorsville, and Kimberly Blaylock of Rockmart; her brothers, Danny Murphy of Cartersville, Tommy Blaylock of Ranger, and Rodney Murphy of Dayton, Tennessee; her four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
