Ted Howell, 85, of West Columbia, SC, passed away May 17, 2021. He was born on August 30, 1935 in Bartow County, GA to Myrtle Howell Abernathy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Boston Howell; son, Daniel Johnson Howell; sisters, Barbara Abernathy and Deborah Herndon.
Mr. Howell is survived by his brother, Douglas Abernathy (Diane); sons, Teddy Howell and Russell Howell (Suzy); along with his granddaughters, Ashley Howell Neal (Brian) and Rebecca Howell; and grandsons, Adam Howell (Chasen), Drew Howell, Nick Howell (Kelly); and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday prior to the service.
