Ted Lawrence Shearer, of Cartersville, GA, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Born September 28, 1955, in in Roseville, Michigan, he is the son of the late Douglas Shearer and Patricia Shearer. He is also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Thompson, and his brothers Douglas Shearer and Terry Shearer.
Survivors include his children Kimberly Shearer (Clinton Stiles), Ted Shearer, Jr, Patricia Meers (Michael), Kelly Shearer, and Austin Spence; grandchildren Mallory Bosdell (Timothy), Ethan Woodall, Caleb Woodall, Amber Meers, Hannah Meers, Sara Meers, Maleah Shearer, Riley Shearer, Chandler Shearer, Zachery Thompson, Xavier Bingham, Madison, and Abigail; Great Grandchildren Sophia, Dante, Xander, Ian, Delilah, and Emersyn; daughter-in-law Sheri Thompson; and his sisters Marcy Harris (Rick), and Karla Shearer.
A military honors memorial service is scheduled at 9:00 am, on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Georgia National Cemetery.
