Mr. Teddy Temples, 64, of Kingston, died suddenly, Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
A native of Bartow County, he was born December 20, 1949, the son of the late Clarence Samuel Temples and the late Annie Flora Murphy Temples. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Jane Culvers. Teddy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of sixteen years, Hazel Dupree Temples of Kingston; his daughter and son-in-law, Aimee and Matt Nall of Tennessee; his step-daughter, Shelley Young of Kingston; his brothers and sister-in-law, Danny and Carol Temples of Taylorsville and Randy Temples of Cartersville; three grandchildren, Mattie Nall, Lucy Nall and Paiden Young; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Phillip Chapman officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Dupree, Andrew Dupree, Seth Morton, Jeff Hughes, Johnny Ray and Steve Crow.
