Teresa Fox

Teresa Marlene Fox, age 63 of Rydal, Georgia, sadly passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Redmond Medical Center.

Teresa was born on January 10, 1960, in Ellijay, Georgia to the late Willie Day Nicholson and Minnie Lee Nicholson. She is also preceded in death by her sister Vickie Ledford.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Dwight Fox; her beautiful daughter Brandy Nation (Reggie); her grandchildren Hanna Archer (Avery) and Hunter Nation (MaLaney Teems); her great-grandchildren Laken Cochran and Adeline Archer; her two sisters Pam Struzzieri (Brian) and Jeri Baker (Terry); her brother Larry Nicholson (Freddie); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Teresa was the kind of person who loved. She loved her family with her whole heart. She loved her neighbors and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She really enjoyed venturing out to the mountains or down to the beach, she loved riding motorcycles, and loved to host visitors. She was always helping others and would care for the elderly ladies in her neighborhood. She would cook for them, clean for them, and run errands for them, always making sure they knew how much she cared about them. With Teresa, there was never a dull or quiet moment. She was always laughing and making others laugh. She made everyone she met feel like they were family, and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Teresa's family is hosting a memorial service to celebrate her life at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with Reggie Nation officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
