Teresa Ann Gossett (Gunn)

Teresa Ann Gossett of Kingston, GA passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Ms. Gossett was born March 17, 1953, in Rome, GA, the daughter of the late Fred Gunn Jr. and Annis Heath Gunn.
Mrs. Gossett was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Paul Gunn, mother-in-law and father-in-law Henry and Mabel Gossett, brother-in-law Tony Hall, sister-in- law Sandra Gunn, nieces Tyra and Tracy Gossett, and great-grandson, Jhett Silvers. Survivors include her husband of forty-six years, Mr. Ronny Gossett; daughters, Amanda (Bryan) Silvers and Jessica Williams; grandchildren, Kayla (Seth) Hardin, Clay (Haley) Silvers, JessiRe' Williams, Urias Williams, Elijah and Khalijah Williams, and great-grandson Jameson Hardin; brothers, Larry (Darlene) Gunn, Freddie Gunn (Sheila), sister Fredia Hall; sisters and brothers-in-laws Jimmy Gossett (Miriam), Kathy Cornwell (Grady), David Gossett (Sam) and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Teresa loved to joke around and have a good time. She was known for never backing down especially when it came to her family. Teresa's life goal was to make sure that her family was always taken care of, no matter the cost. She loved to go on road trips with her family, have family gatherings, and going out to eat with her siblings. Most days she could be found sitting on the couch next to Ronny with her two precious pups, Jolene and Ava, watching The Price is Right and The Young and The Restless. Everyone in the family could always expect a call from her each day, if not two, three or five before the day was over. And no matter how many times you talked to her you could be certain that she did not hear most of it. She was a great mother, wife, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and grandmother and will be sorely missed by every one of us.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bryan Silvers officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Gunn, Jason Gunn, Bryan Hall, Justin Gunn, Brett Gossett and Jonathan Cornwell. Interment will follow at Kingston Cemetery in Kingston, GA.
