Terryl Lynn Abernathy, 52, of Cartersville Georgia, passed away on August 14, 2023.
She was born on January 23, 1971, to the late Mitchell King and Dale Jackson King. In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Christy King; mother-in-law, Emma Abernathy; sister-in-law, Joan (Robert) Morrow; and brother-in-law, Rickey Abernathy.
Survivors include her husband of 13 years, Teddy Anthony Abernathy; mother, Dale Jackson King; sister, Rhonda (Bradley) King Collum; niece, Twyla (Cody) Tatum; niece, Tayler Hite; great-nieces and nephews, Taylor, Jacob, Kason, Macie, Kenli, and Waylon; and special friends, Shelly Bennett and Jonny Dick.
Terryl loved to play bingo. She would play at the VFW (Veterans of Foreign War) Post as well as the Moose Lodge, where she was a member of. Terryl was also a member of the Cartersville Elks Lodge. She was a Sergeant in Arms at the American Legion for several years. She absolutely adored her pup, Cotton.
The family will welcome friends for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
