Mr. Thomas Flowers, 53, of Taylorsville, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Cartersville Medical Center.
Born February 19, 1959 in Cartersville, he was the son of George Washington Flowers and Myrtle Shook Flowers of Piedmont, Alabama. Mr. Flowers had worked as a truck mechanic for Bartow County.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Stacy Flowers; daughters, Cindy Pope and Amanda Edwards, both of Cartersville; son, Tommy Flowers of Piedmont, AL; sisters, Pearl Blythe and Rebecca McDaniel, both of Piedmont, and Teresa Culver of Taylorsville; brothers, Randall Flowers of Acworth, and Larry Flowers, Mark Flowers, and Michael Flowers, all of Piedmont; 10 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lindale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 5 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
