Thomas Hunter

Thomas Kelly Hunter, 73, of Cartersville passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019.

Born in Conway, South Carolina on September 3, 1946 he was the son of Horace Attley Hunter and Cora Lesley Hunter. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Dodd Hunter.

Thomas was a member of Trinity at the Well and a former insurance adjuster by trade. He was an avid camper, hunter and a jack of all trades who never met a stranger. He was always kind and generous with his time and loved his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Hunter Woody of Acworth; Travers Kelly "T.K." Hunter of Cartersville, Dave Wiggins of Dallas, Rick Wiggins of Dallas; his grandchildren, Danielle, Delaney, Lindsey, Autumn, Astana, Lily Grace, TK, Jordan and Ricky; his great-grandchildren, Brantley and Eli; his sisters, Jo H. Watson, Anne H. Martin, and Dancy H. Spivey; and his brothers, Horace Attley Hunter, Jr. "Sonny", and Theron Lesley "Terry" Hunter, his twin brother, all of Conway, South Carolina.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Trinity at the Well with Reverend Steven Lyle officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. Thomas will lie in state at the church from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the funeral hour. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
