Thomas Jenkins

Thomas Michael Jenkins, 61, of Rome passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Floyd Medical Center. Born December 10, 1948 in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Henry Jenkins and the late Ruth Reindold Jenkins.



Thomas had been employed by the Gordon Taylor in Pennsylvania before relocating to Georgia. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during Vietnam. He was also a veteran of the Army National Guard.



Survivors include his sister, Mary Ellen McLaughlin of Walnut Port, Pennsylvania; two brothers; and a friend, Mary Beth Evans of Kingston, Georgia.



A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 12, 2010 in the Georgia National Cemetery with full military honors.
