Mr. Thomas Joseph Kessinger, age 63, of 1954 Shorter Avenue, Rome, GA, died Monday, August 4, 2008, in a local hospital.
Mr. Kessinger was born August 16, 1944. He was a resident of Rome and Floyd County for several years. Prior to his illness was a truck driver. Mr. Kessinger enjoyed listening to the Grand O� Opry and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Kessinger was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jo Kessinger; a son, Dallas Earl Kessinger; and a sister, Connie Frequa.
Mr. Kessinger is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Olga Mae and Leon Stiles of Kingston and Freida Lynn and Ravee Morrow of Adairsville; seven grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Alhe of Ill.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 6, 2008, in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Private interment will be held at a later date.
