Thomas Plummer

Mr. Thomas R. "Tom" Plummer, age 86, of Autumn Years Assisted Living, died on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Heartland Hospice House. Born in Trion Georgia on May 2, 1921, he was the son of the lateThomas David Plummer and Clara Leigh Clifton Plummer. Prior to retirement Mr. Plummer was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Budget Analyst. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. For fifty years he was an amateur radio operator. He was a veteran of WWII, having served in the United States Army. Preceding him in death was his wife of 59 years, Virginia Manzi Plummer.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Tom and Vivian Plummer of Cartersville, David Plummer of Toccoa; his grandchildren, Jennifer Plummer of Cartersville and Brian Plummer of Sandy Springs.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2008, in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with Rev. Charles Lowery officiating.
