Mr. Timothy M. Law, age 44, of 342 McGrady Road, Rome, GA, died Thursday, October 27, 2005.A native of Rome and Floyd County, Tim was born on September 8, 1961, the son of Emmett J. Law and the late Doris Marie Anderson Law. He had lived the greater part of his life in Rome and Floyd County and was a graduate of Model High School. At the time of his death Tim was a concrete contractor, a profession he had enjoyed for over 30 years. He was a member of the Sunny Hill Baptist Church and was a volunteer with the William Davies Homeless Shelter. Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to Jordan's football games, loved his dogs, was a southern rock music fan and an avid reader. He will be remembered as a "very simple man" who was known for his "heart and sensitivity" and "thoughtfulness". He was preceded in death by his mother on July 28, 1965, and a brother, Johnny Law on January 21, 1989.Tim is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, Angela Dawn Law, to whom he was married on November 3, 2004; two daughters, Ashley Law Ward and Lauren Winters; father and step-mother, Emmett and Barbara Law; step-son, Jordan DeJesus; two sisters, Audry Langford and Jayne Bielstein; a brother, Michael Law; two step-brothers, Gregory Brown and Joseph Brown. Several nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services for Tim will be held this (Sunday) afternoon at 3 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Langford officiating. Tim will lie in-state in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the William Davies Homeless Shelter, 228 South Broad Street, Rome, GA, 30161, or to the charity of your choosing.
